How to Update to WatchOS 3 on Apple Watch

watchOS 3 is compatible with all Apple Watch models. Updating WatchOS software is accomplished with the following steps:

• Be sure the paired iPhone is updated to iOS 10
• Connect the Apple Watch to the charger, it needs at least a 50% charge and to be connected to wi-fi
• Open the Watch app on iPhone and go to “My Watch”
• Choose “General” and then “Software Update” and select ‘Download and Install’

Downloading and updating to watchOS 3 can take a while, so be prepared to rest your Apple Watch for a while and let the process complete.
