I've been getting a ton of Poco X3 Pro and Poco M3 devices in my shop lately with the exact same problem: sudden dead boot. Sometimes they show a faint white light on the screen, or they just get stuck on the Qualcomm EDl 9008 port when connected to a PC.
We all know the standard industry fix for this is reballing the CPU and RAM. However, I wanted to ask the experienced technicians here about their long-term success rates.
I've noticed that even after a perfect reball using high-quality solder paste and flux, some of these phones return to the shop after 3 to 4 months with the same dead issue again. It seems like the motherboard design itself simply can't handle the heat dissipation from the Snapdragon chipset.

- After reballing, I apply a slightly thicker layer of high-grade thermal paste on the CPU shield before closing the device.
- I try not to use excessive heat during the reflow process to avoid stressing the internal board layers.
