What you need:
- Unlock Bootloader ZenFone Max Pro M1 ( Tutorial Here )
- TWRP for ZenFone Max Pro M1 ( Download )
- ADB Fastboot (Download)
- Make sure your zenfone max pro m1 bootloader unlocked
- download and extract adb fastboot
- Download twrp.img above and move to adb folder
- Turn off zenfone
- Enter fastboot mode by pressing Power+volume up
- Connect ZenFone with PC/Laptop with usb cable
- On adb folder open cmd by (shift+right click > open command here)
- Type on cmd:
- fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.2.3-0-X00TD-20180814.img
- Make sure Reboot to recovery by pressing Power+volume down
